Must be able to develop a therapeutic rapport with diverse individuals of the targeted population. Must be able to assess and function in a strengths-based model of care. Must be able to link patients with resources, coordinate appropriate treatment and provide documentation for the clinical record.
Peer Support
This position consists of helping develop a network of information and support for patients with mental illness. Applicants must have personal life experience receiving mental health support services. Selected applicant will receive training and support in becoming certified through the State of Kansas.
Outpatient Therapist
The therapist is responsible for providing mental health services (individual, family, and group therapy) within the scope of their license; and providing consultation services to individuals and organizations in the community. The therapist is expected to adhere to the ethical principles and guidelines set forth by the organization’s governing his/her profession and to comply with professional guidelines established by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
